Job Title: Office Manager
Responsible To: Antigo Community Food Pantry Director
Classification: Tax Exempt
Worksite: Antigo Status: Part-time/25 hours weekly
Must have knowledge of QuickBooks, strong communication skills and basic computer skills.
A background in bookkeeping is preferred, but not required. Must be dependable with good leadership qualities.
General Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping and accounting utilizing the QuickBooks program. Tasks include intake of monetary donations, banking, paying bills, creating monthly reports, organizing and leading the Finance Committee Meetings, managing investments, (IRA company match, CDs, and endowment fund).
Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail
Assisting potential and existing clients/maintain confidential client records
Registering clients when needed following the ACFP/TEFAP registration guidelines
Answering the phone
Oversee pantry operations in the absence of the pantry Director
Be knowledgeable of other programs available to clients and encourage clients to participate in them (ex: Foodshare, Salvation Army, Energy Assistance, etc.)
Maintain a good working relationship with all volunteers and clients
Manage the pantry website and Facebook page
Utilize Look2consulting client registration/inventory/volunteer program when required
Assist clients outdoors at least once a week during a food distribution
Provide a welcoming, safe and positive environment for both volunteers and clients
Ensure pantry policies and procedures are enforced
In the absence of the Director, coordinate, train and supervise pantry volunteers
Assist in the planning and organization of the Annual Purses for the Pantry event and any other fundraising/food drive events that occur throughout the year
Intake and record food donations/ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
